SURRENDERING TO DESTINY OR FATE?

Greetings, dear ones, from the Brotherhood of Light. We gather in great numbers to welcome you to the energies of this new year, 2005. For many, it will herald a new sensitivity to life, a new awareness of energies surrounding you, in alternating waves of stamina and fatigue. Yes, there will be many ups and downs for people this year, physically speaking. And that is what we are here to teach, how the Millennium Shift is affecting your bodies, and how to evolve gracefully though all the changes.

In recent text (Sedona Journal January 2005) we put forth the concept that the earth's increasing frequency is causing your bodies to expend twenty to twenty-five percent of your daily physical stamina in the shifting process. Yes, indeed, changing down to the "DNA level" is hard work for your bodies, though it happens below your level of conscious awareness. Almost all of your bodily processes function without any mental input from you at all. But doesn't it help to know why you are so tired, so depressed, so lethargic? You have a twenty-hour per week part-time job you didn't know about! Again, we counsel you to listen to your bodies' messages, and heed them. Else you will get worn down, and be unable to keep up with the demands of your lives.

In this message, we would like to focus on an aspect of your metaphysical growth that seems simple to some, yet impossible for most - surrender. Yes, keep turning over what you can't see, can't do or can't handle. Hand it back to Spirit, in whatever form of Spirit you believe, and say, "Here, God, I need to apply blind faith and Divine Timing to this and to that. Handle it for me, Spirit, until I can see it more clearly." Sounds simple? Indeed, yet at that point you must let it go! Stop thinking about it, stop worrying about it, stop chewing on it, stop being angry about it, let it go! Let it go with love, with relief, with trust that it will all work out. Each time it comes back, keep blessing it with gratitude and send it out again. Do you see, now, how the release must be complete? Yes, at all PEMS levels of your total Be-ing, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

Worrying about something keeps it tight in your energetic field. Worry is a negative emotion that does no good except to drain your energy at all levels. Yes, worry is a mental exercise, but it drags down your emotional body into the darkness of lower vibrations, and actually enlarges those pockets of etheric baggage you are carrying. Worry exhausts your physical body by depleting it of precious stamina - thoughts and emotions require energy, yes indeed! Worry clogs up your mental body, by dominating your awareness with negative thoughts and preventing you from focusing on the positive. Worry can even prevent you from experiencing the present moment! And worry also denies your spiritual body of its power - how can you be in love, in light, and in faith if you keep doubting yourself and Spirit?

Again, dear beloved humans, it is all a question of perspective, and which level you choose to "see" the world from. Worry is self-defeating because it places you squarely in lack, in powerlessness, in fear and doubt. Through all of our teachings, we have harped on the need for a positive perspective! Yes, where you choose to put your awareness determines how you feel about things and about life. We will discuss two words for you here, two words that have been confused and confusing for many - destiny and fate. What is the difference? How are they related? Which one to choose?

In your dictionaries, the word fate refers to "the inevitability of a course of events supposedly predetermined by a god or other agency beyond human control; what happens or has happened to a person or entity; final outcome such as doom, death and destruction."

The word destiny also refers to "an inevitable succession of events as determined supernaturally or by necessity, but often implies a favorable outcome (as in 'it was her destiny to become famous')."

Do you see the fine line of perspective that separates these two words? Your destiny is yours to manage, to direct, to create. Your fate is handed to you by life's happenstance and circumstance. Do you see your life as fated, inevitable, and out of your control? How easy it is to avoid responsibility for all that surrounds you, if it is inflicted upon you! If you say time and again, this just happened to me, I didn't see it coming, it's not my fault - yes, you are in victim mode! You lose all power to create that which you desire. You lose your power to choose - the biggest Spiritual gift you have in this free will zone - why would you so easily surrender it?

Ah, yes, back to the concept of "surrendering" (chuckle - circles within circles, dear ones, that is how we teach.) How to surrender? By releasing all mental loops of worry and replacing them with total faith and emotional gratitude that All is as it should be, you stop adding to your etheric baggage. You start adding more and more light to your entire Be-ing by focusing on positive thoughts and staying in constant awareness of your present moment. Yes, learn how to control time by BEING in it, dear ones! Stop living in the past, stop worrying about your unknown future, for that puts time in control of you.

How many of you have had this following experience? You step into the shower, start your customary ritual of soaping this and scrubbing that, and then your mind wanders. Suddenly, you forgot which parts you've washed! Where were you? Where did you go? Your body was in the shower, doing one thing, but your mind went back to an old argument with so-and-so, or went forward to fretting over a laundry list of things not yet done. How much time went by? Hard to tell, since your awareness was elsewhere! Next time you shower, try keeping your mind focused on only that. Focus on the heat and motion of the water, focus on each area you are washing, enjoy every moment! You will be surprised, at first, how many times your mind will wander away. Keep pulling your awareness back into the shower, and stay focused on what you and your body are doing together. Not only is this a good exercise for being in Now time, it also is a good exercise for expanding and sensitizing all of your senses.

Another important point for you to keep in mind - to fully explore until you understand it - has to do with time. Ah, yes, that bugaboo thing about linear vs. circular time that so many of you are struggling to assimilate. Guess what - you're already living in the Now! You have always been living in the Now! Yes, for your linear experience compartmentalizes and cuts apart time. Your past is behind you, and you cannot reach it. Your future is ahead of you, and you cannot reach it. Your present moment is all that you can experience, touch, hear, act, think and do within. So we say with great delight, dear readers, that is why your linear experience is an illusion! There is no past or future that you can touch, is there? All that you can access and function in is your current Now moment! Always has been, too! Duality exists because you perceive it to exist. Linear time exists because you perceive it to be so.

The main barrier between linear and circular time is your perception of it!

The same line of thinking (chuckle, we so love puns!) can be applied to the biggest and most important concept in all of Spirituality - that you are, indeed, Divine. That you carry the spark of God's Divine Essence within your cellular structure. That you are made in the image of God, yes, to quote your own scriptures! The Universal Law of Divine Creation states that you are part of God, within the great body of God, and thus have all the creational abilities of God. Yes, you are in the New Age time of co-creation with God! You are becoming that which God Is. You are beginning to tap into your eternal selves, and realizing that you have always been, and always will be, Divine.

Now back up a moment. For those of you in victim mode, do you see how you are pulling away and separating from all your inherent divine gifts? For those of you who feel powerless before the buffeting winds of "fate," we say that is the destiny you are creating! The perspective that God doesn't care, that God inflicts suffering, that God is "doing this to you," how can any of this be possible if you are God?

Time to pick a lane, dear ones! It's time to start feeling your way to materializing the future you desire and require. Yes, it is a positive emotional perspective we ask you to seek as your new comfort zone. Then the mental body will have a higher, lighter, better frame of mind within which to function! If you feel good about yourself, good about your life, and happy no matter what is going on around you, your thoughts will be focused upon happy things. Your individual vibration will be heightened with joy! If you grind away the day in worry and doubt, you will tire much more quickly and get less value out of anything you do. Your energetic vibration, at all PEMS levels, will go down.

In prior Circle of Grace material, we explained that your emotions (positive or negative) are the energetic glue that holds your etheric baggage as pockets of dense matter clogging your aura. That is why forgiveness releases the negative emotions tied to people and events in your past, allowing you to move forward as a fully-focused Be-ing with all of your pieces and parts fully present. Emotions are also the fuel that propels your energetic creations, good and bad, into materialization. Do you see how gaining control over your emotions and clearing your emotional layer of negativity affects all that you are, all that you do, and all that you wish to become?

Dear ones, we teach in many layers, many circles of thought, all revolving around your evolving with grace and ease. (Many chuckles and a big hug!) So we remind you here to please start clearing your bodies, in whatever form of daily practice you enjoy. Yes, for in the next five years you will see even heavier waves of energy incoming to the planet. If you're feeling run down and tired now, imagine what it will be like in two or three years! Keep in mind that it isn't how much you clear, it's how often you clear. Yes, we are teaching you about the care and maintenance of your aura! This concept is just budding in the greater human consciousness, since you had to first realize that your total body is much larger than your physical core. The more of you that do this, the more of you will be able to follow.

There will always be a current accumulation of strain and stress needing release as you go through daily life. Beneath that is the level of chronic blockages you carry, which must be moved out of your systems in order to attain a higher level of function. Beneath that is the level of past-life patterns, issues and damage that you have carried forward into this life, along with the lessons you have learned. Yes, the innermost level of your belief systems reside here, entwined within your awakening layers of interdimensional DNA.

These are the three major levels of healing we focus on in our work together within the Circle of Grace clearing process. Once you achieve a higher mode of clearing and replenishing your bodies with universal energy, your ascension process will be a smooth glide, an easy ride! Yes, dear ones, it may take you several years to become free-flowing and self-energizing, but you will be far ahead of the curve! Everyone shifts in their own time, in their own harmony with the earth's shift. Has it occurred to you, as this is such a gradual process, that it will not suddenly end in 2012? Why would it?

Imagine the shifting energies as a rising curve. This rising curve is not a static line, but actually a sine-wave pattern that keeps increasing in intensity, changing from long, slow waves eventually to sharper, tighter, faster waves. The linear time marker of the Winter Solstice 2012 is impossible to pin onto this shifting curve, as it changes in tune with all future potentials. Yes, like it or not, know it or not, your lives are changing, your bodies are changing, as the reality around you expands beyond the duality that you have known.

Have you thought about the times beyond 2012? Do you think all will change in a blink, and all will be well? Yes, of course, all is as it should be, and will evolve so. But the changes, dear ones, will still continue. The "adjusting" to the energies will be of a different flavor, but by no means will it be done. For most people, there will be a long period of adjustment, defined and ruled by the eternal, external and internal energies. Change always occurs on all levels, remember? Since each of you changes in your own way, in your own time, each transition will be unique. You will, however, see different levels of assimilation, of meshing, as peoples' strengths and talents become clearly evident, and their weaknesses, as well.

Some of you will transition gracefully, with few health challenges. Many people will need to overcome breathing issues, balance and coordination issues, and sensory overload problems. There will also be increased sensitivity at all levels of bodily function, so some of you will become hyper-sensitive in the senses, skin, emotions, etc... Yes, different levels of comfort or dis-comfort will become evident, as will new ways to treat all of these problems! That is why we foresee the need for science and spirituality to meet and merge, for conventional and alternative medicines to blend and grow.

After the earth's 4-5D transition into the full bloom of 5D, a gradual balancing curve will follow. The Grand Shift will take time to fully assimilate, to find its own balance. Remember, this is happening from the innermost reaches of the planet and on out into the greater reaches of your universe and beyond. Remember the Universal Law of Balance? All life revolves around a center point, back and forth and back again, until a new frequency resonance is fully established. Each person will flow through that rising curve at their own pace. Their pace will be set by the earth's pace. So as there are energy waves ebbing and flowing now, there will be later, too, beyond the 2012 predictions. All life continues transforming. The only constant you can count on is that all life will keep changing and evolving. As are you, dear ones, as are you.

We are Spirit's material mechanics, come forward to help move forward your understanding of how your bodies are changing, and what you can do to smooth the process. In all of this work, we do not mean to dwell only on the negative side-effects. Yet we know that you readers are the forefront of the awakened and aware ones. You know what is happening, you are beginning to feel it within, and see it all around you. So we urge you to keep positive, to keep clearing yourselves, for your talents and energies will be much needed in the acceleration time coming in the years ahead. We say, look ahead, yes! Such wonderful potentials blooming before you!

The more you know, the higher you go. The more you clear, the faster you will rise. At one point, you will see the need to modify, to simplify, to unlearn all that you have internalized conceptually by be-coming it actually. Yes, Spirit in action is your eventual goal, to become Divine in essence through your awareness perspective. To embody your Higher Self and be fully connected to that larger, eternal you while still housed within the confines of a physical body.

Can you imagine, for a moment, stepping aside and letting God peek out through your eyes? Now, step back into full charge of those eyes, and know that God stayed put! Yes, adopt that higher perspective, and then plunk yourself in the center! Be-come that Divine vibration, and you will feel a smile grow on your face. No matter what you are looking at, it is all perfect, it is all Divine.

You have heard so often that the way up is within. Here we say, in order to find your way, your heart's path, your inner Divine Flame, you need to clear and balance the PEMS levels of your entire Be-ing. That is the "how" of the way! The "why" of the way is to reach and reconnect with Spirit, to blend with your own Higher Self, to become the blessed 5D Human Be-ings gracefully living in your emerging 5D world.
